APPARATUSES WITH BOILING AND FLUIDIZED BEDS

In recent years, basic investigations of heat and mass transfer in a fluidized bed and of the possibility of practical applications of this bed have been under way at INEP OIVT RAN.

In particular, studies were made of drying and roasting of loose products in a fluidized bed and of the accompanying physicochemical changes.

These activities resulted in the development of several unique facilities, namely,

1. Facility for roasting of loose products

2. Small-scale farm grain dryer

3. Mobile farm grain dryer
